TED™ drives us an industry standard SATA interface for ease of deployment. TED™ drives can be used to retrofit systems supporting SAS or SATA disk drives offering up to three tiers of storage in a single system. TED™ drives offer exceptional performance over minimal spindles, allowing administrators to use a few disks to provide tier one storage, lowering storage TCO.
Availability
TED™ Drives are available in 120GB capacities in all DNF products supporting SATA or SAS disk drives. 200GB disks will be available in the second half of 2007.
