High performance features include single or dual Quad-Core Xeon processors, up to 16GB system memory, choice of 10,000RPM or 15,000RPM spindle speeds, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

This fault-tolerant server comes in a convenient, space-saving 5U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 950 Watt 3+1 power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and 50 across twenty-four hot-swappable Ultra320 SCSI disk drives, on a high-performance multi-channel Ultra320 SCSI hardware RAID controller.

Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the FlexStor-NAS 2405q to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded via its integrated DVD-ROM drive.
